Troop:

I apologize for the length of the meeting tonight, but we ran into some issues that needed solving. Fortunately we’ve got them all worked out & we’re all set to go. Thank you for bearing with us.

We will be staying at the Artillry Ridge Campground www.artilleryridge.com 610 Taneytown rd Gettysburg pa 17325 (for those of us who need directions)

We have enough drivers, but it will still be a tight fit on the return, so if anybody else is interested in joining us, we welcome the addition. Please let me or Bob Nock know asap if you can join us with your car.

As a group, we are going to meet at the church on Friday morning at 7:30 am to pack the cars and fill the seats. We need to be on the road by 8 & will need the boys to have all the troop gear as well as their own stowed with them in the seats well before that, so please have them there on time.

Please have your Scout bring whatever food they will need for breakfast & lunch on Friday morning. Additionally, they will need money for dinner at General Pickett’s Friday night, lunch at the museum cafeteria on Saturday and whatever spending money they may want for the trip.

Mr Testa (thank you Steve for stepping up!!!) will be returning on Sunday night and he will be bringing 4 Scouts including his own with him, so those boys will be home probably pretty late Sunday night. Everybody else is leaving on Monday morning after breakfast and will probably be home in the late afternoon or early evening on Monday. We’ll have the boys call or text as we get closer to the Island.

All the boys have their food assignments & should know what to bring.
