Subject: Parents – Merit Badges and Rank Advancement

T410 Parents –

The Troop year is in full swing, and things are getting busier by the day for your Scouts, with lots of schoolwork and extracurricular activities.

But keep in mind – a Scout without a plan will not achieve his potential this year.

Your Scout can’t do it without you.

Please review these two documents with your Scout, as well as the Scout handbook, and coach him on rank activities and the merit badge Trail to 21:

1. A checklist of the steps for rank advancement and merit badge achievement

2. A plan template for Merit Badge achievement
