Subject: Uniforms – Proper Insignia Locations

Troop –

At tonight’s COH there were some questions on the proper location of the Patrol and Position patches on the Boy Scout uniform.

See page 2 in the attached document.

The Patrol patch goes on the right arm, below the US flag.

The Position patch (called the “badge of office”) goes on the left arm, below the troop number.
