Parents and Scouts,

The Suffolk County Council has opened registration for Boy Scout Winter Camp. This is a great opportunity to earn several merit badges in one week.

• Dates: Monday, Feb. 19 to Friday, Feb. 23, 2018 – during the school winter break
• Location: Baiting Hollow Scout Camp, Calverton
• There will be merit badge classes and open time activities.
• Scouts sleep in heated cabins. Meals are prepared and served in the Dining Hall.
• The price is $320 per Boy Scout.

These merit badges are scheduled to be offered:

• Emergency Preparedness
• Fire Safety
• First Aid
• Public Health
• Safety
• Search & Rescue
• Traffic Safety
• and possibly Crime Prevention

Space is limited to 50 Scouts and will be filled on a first come, first-served basis, so register early.

Attendance is not organized by Troop 410 for this camp.

It’s worked out well in the past when several Scouts from Troop 410 attend camp together. So check with others in the Troop to coordinate attendance with your Scout.
